Book Review: 세종한국어 1

Today i’m going to share a book review to all of you. The book that i will review is a book for Korean Language Student, especially for a beginner level student who want to study Korean language. The title of this book  is written in Korea, that is “세종한국어 1”, which means Korean Language Sejong 1 in English. For your information, Sejong here means King Sejong. He was a Korean King who created the Korean Alphabet, mostly known as Hangul. He was really an honorable king who is very concerned with his people. Actually i’m also interested to write about King Sejong, but maybe i will write it in another post.

Okay, get back to the topic, “세종한국어 1” (Read: Sejong Hangugeo 1)  is a book to study Korean Language in a beginner level. It is published by The National Institute of The Korean Language. In this book there are 12 chapters. I use this book in my Korean Language Class (You can read it in my previous post) and i used to learn one chapter for each class meeting. What i really like from this book is in each chapter there is always a new theme with new grammar to be learned and new vocabularies for each theme. For example when i learn chapter 7. Chapter 7 entitled “날씨”(Read: Nal ssi). 날씨 means weather. So, i will learn all about weather vocabularies in chapter 7 and a new grammar as well. Chapter 8 entitled “시간” (Read: Si Gan). 시간 means time. So in chapter 8 we will learn a grammar which is related about how a time should be represented in a sentence and we also will learn about another vocabularies related with time.

This book content in each chapter contains speaking, listening, reading, and writing, which i think the full package to study language. For listening itself, we will also get a CD inside the book for all listening materials. Besides, what i also like from this book is this book is full color with many pictures inside which make me interested to open each page and not feeling like study but having fun.

In Indonesia, i don’t know whether there is a bookstore which sell this book or not. But what i know is we can get this book Online and this book will directly imported from Korea. I myself got this book from buying it Online in Yes24 Online Store.

Hope you will have fun learn Korea with this book. Happy study 🙂

Princess Diaries Book

I’m a fan of Princess Diaries movies which is filmed based on books written by Meg Cabot. I love both the movies and the books. Both of them were great.

You know why I like princess diaries? It’s because without princess diaries, i would never know Michael Moskovitz. Thanks to Meg Cabot who has created prince charming character who is really charming like Michael Moskovitz. I’m happy there is such a kind, handsome, and warmhearted person like him in this world. Though it’s just in the movie and the books, but i’m happy enough with it.
Of course in Princess Diaries books and Movies, the main character is Mia.  So, once more, I would thanks to Meg Cabot who has made a character like Mia is. Mia show to us something valuable when we have to rule the people. Mia teaches us to learn how to become a good leader, especially for women.

The Princess Present
A Princess Diaries Book
In this charming Novella, Mia visits Genovia for the holidays and worries about her present for Michael. What she doesn’t realize is that what makes a present perfect has nothing to do with international express courier, and everything to do with love. Though some shiny ribbon never hurts.

B.A.P Comeback in 2015: Young, Wild and Free

Finally B.A.P is back with their mini album “MATRIX”. The title song of that album is “Young, Wild, and Free”. The song is really hip hop which is very B.A.P style, the rap is so cool, and what makes this MV so special is because this MV show the mature side of Zelo. Zelo, which is known as Baby Zelo has really changed into a man. With his appearance, he looks really mature and cool with the glassess. Besides, he also show cool rap and dance with showing his abs. Me and Lee Bong Im Seonsaengnim

Hello everyone,
It’s been a long time 🙂
Now i want to share my new activity to all of you. Yeah, from the title, i guess all of you know what i will write about.

I really enjoy my Korean Language Class right now. It’s been about 1 year i study Korean language in Korean Cultural Center Indonesia (KCCI). KCCI itself located on 17th floor of Equity Tower, Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD), South Jakarta. There are 8 class levels if we study in KCCI: Sejong 1, Sejong 2, Sejong 3, Sejong 4, Sejong 5, Sejong 6, Sejong 7, until Sejong 8. Now i’m still in Sejong 2 Class. After pass the examination of each class level, you will get the certificate from KCCI.

My Sejong 1 Class

What i like about Korean Language Class in KCCI are:
1. The teacher is a native speaker so we get used to speak Korean in Class. Not to mention the learning method that is used by the teacher makes us get accustomed to speak Korean and to use Korean even more in daily activities.
2. I got many friends there. It’s fun having class with the people that have the same hobby with you isn’t it?
3. The place is great and comfortable, the library is filled with many Korean books, the computer room is great, helping us to understand Korean even more with all those facilities.
4. The most important factor why i like to have a course in KCCI is it’s CHEAP. I think, compared with the other course place, this is the cheapest course place ever with theBEST quality. What i will say is i just have to pay Rp 800.000 to get one course level with the qualified teacher and the great classroom. Whoa, can you really imagine it?

So, don’t think two times, let’s register your self to come and join Korean language class in Korean Cultural Center Indonesia. Hope you will like Korean more through the language. I also hope someday i can go to Korea and practicing talk to Korean people with Korean Language that I’ve learned. 🙂

EXO Xiumin New Drama and Solo

Exo Xiumin just comeback with a cute image of clown. He is possibly the cutest clown ever in this planet. Don’t forget to watch his web drama “Falling For Challenge”. In that web drama he played with actress Kim So-Eun who previously had a role in Boys Before Flowers drama. I think Falling for challenge is a drama that is very suitable for youth and young people (like me hehe). It’s about a group of college student who is falling for challenge. Curious?
